What is Blog ?
At list a blog is an online note where you can post your thoughts, research, observations, reviews and comments about a particular topic. Blog is just a simple web page that has chunks of information called posts added to them on a regular basis. Depending on how it was setup by the person maintaining the blog, the posts can be all on one page forcing visitors to scroll down, or each post will have its own individual web page.
What ever you are a writer or not, you can write to make readers love your blog. Basically bloggers do not have to be “writers”, need to be communicators, you can communicate in many ways, many style and in many expression.
Make a blogs are so efficient, cheap, easy to find and search on the internet, and just plain fun. So if you are thinking about setting up a site, find out if a blog is the alternative that you have overlooked. And now with so many style and scripts, you can start, download, install and create several web blog pages of complete web sites within a couple time.
Get Started
When you are first starting out you might find it a bit difficult to get going (or you might find it easy and then run out of steam!). If you have put a bit of thought into what your blogs main theme is about then that is the place to start. If you have a blog about training your cat, then you could have a post on training your cat to whistle in 7 easy steps! On a more serious note, just look at the theme of your blog and write. It doesn’t have to be Shakespeare but it does have to be at least a little interesting with some personal stuff thrown in on occasion.
Keep Fresh and Up Date
Before you get started, there are a few things you should know about blogging. One of the best things you can do as a blogger is to keep your blog fresh and up to date. This means that you should be posting often and changing things around when doing so. Post on different topics so your audience can stay interested. Also, post at least twice a week. People who will become fans of your site will want to read as much as possible on your blog. Updating your blog regularly will allow them to be entertained. Try and regularly update your blog with articles and helpful hints and tips and free giveaways to increase traffic to your website.
