This day if you go and visit YouTube, you will notice that each time you refresh the page, or see a video, the logo of YouTube will change. This cause by recent event that involving Google. Google apparently has partnered with HP, Intel, and the Guggenheim museum in New York to create the YouTube play project.
As Matt Brien says that the reason of YouTube logo change is a way of drawing visitors attention to the YouTube play mini site. This project was purposed to gain hidden artistic talent through YouTube.
Candidates placed their videos to the YouTube play site, and then the Guggenheim Museum will chose 200 candidates. And then they will be shown at a panel experts, who will choose the last 20 to be shown at the Guggenheim museum in New York during a special event on the 21st October 2010 and at different venues and dates afterwards.
The reason that this project being held is searching for hidden talent through the internet. And what result that comes out this contest could propel some hidden talent to fame and fortune.
